Alpaca Rug Facts

Casa de Campo Alpaca Ranch is proud to present its 2010 100% alpaca fleece hand-loomed carpets and rugs. Utilizing the traditional European weaving process, the fiber, 100% natural, never dyed - is meticulously hand-woven and spun around a jute core, which provides durability and allows each rug to be reversible.

The rugs photographed and presented were made from the fleece of this year's shearing. The rug patterns presented are the new design creations for 2010. No two Casa de Campo rugs are identical. Because there are 22 different recognized fleece colors, and due to natural factors such as weather, animal maturity, and forage, fleece colors may change ever so slightly from year to year. Also, because our rugs are hand-woven, there will be subtle weaving variances resulting in one-of-a-kind rugs that cannot be duplicated.

Inventory On Hand

Casa de Campo Ranch endeavors to maintain a perpetual inventory of each 2010 rug pattern in both 3'X5' and 4'X6' sizes. However, temporary out of stock conditions will occur. For items currently in inventory, shipping is usually within 5-7 business days after an order is confirmed.

Purchasing Procedure

A.	Ordering - To purchase one or more rugs from our current inventory, please contact us directly at , or call 254-965-7822 to verify that your specific request is in stock and ready to ship. At that time, a Wholesale Order Form will be provided to expedite your order, or you may immediately place your order by verbal request.
B.	Confirmation - A written order confirmation and invoice for the order deposit will be prepared and e-mailed to the buyer within one business day.
C.	All items will be held until the deposit is received, but not longer than seven (7) business days. If the purchaser's deposit payment is not received at the end of business on the seventh (7th) business day, the item(s) will be returned to inventory and become immediately available for sale.
D.	Shipping - Once the purchaser's deposit has been received the items will be shipped via UPS Ground Freight unless other arrangements have been made.
E.	Final Settlement - Once the item(s) are shipped, a final invoice for the balance due, shipping costs, and any applicable taxes will be prepared and e-mailed. A hard copy will also be mailed via the USPS.

Payment Terms

A deposit of 50% is required at the time an order is placed. The deposit must be received before any items are shipped. Casa de Campo Alpaca Ranch gladly accepts company checks and payment via PayPal. The remaining balance plus shipping costs, and applicable taxes will be due upon delivery.

How to Care for Alpaca Rugs

Simply vacuum rugs with a smooth surface attachment as often as needed. Spots are easily removed with mild soap and lukewarm water. The entire surface may be shampooed with a mild detergent (such as Woolite). Alpaca rugs may also be dry cleaned.
